one way tickets ATL/ BRU

Jump to last reply

so my daughter and her husband need to buy one way tickets to Brussels near the beginning of Jan. STICKER SHOCK! I thought that the days of non-available one way tickets had passed but nope, what I am seeing, using ITA / MATRIX, absolutely no deal for one way travel - round trip may even be cheaper. (and I just have to mention that I can't believe how high the round trip fares are for January! I'm really afraid to price my summer trip!) If they purchase one way and "burn" the return, do they go on a "naughty" list? They are actually going to Brussels to prepare for living in Thailand, so will stay in Brussels for a month, then on to Thailand - no return dates are set at this time. I haven't even looked at flights from BRU to Bangkok yet.
