one quick question about Rail 7-day Travelcard.

Jump to last reply

Is it possible to begin activation of a 7-day travelcard the day after you purchase it, or does it become active at the time of purchase? I’m asking because we’d like the cards to be active starting on day 2 in the city and still be active on day 8, when they’ll be used in the morning to travel by tube to a rail station. We have tickets for travel to other UK cities, but we’ll need to get from the hotel to the rail station on day 8. We thought we’d purchase the Travelcards on our arrival day in London, day 1, at a train station, but only if they could be dated/activated for the following day. Does this explanation make sense? Hope so.
