I agree you should spend one night in either Genva or Lausanne.

Naw Geneva - more open at night. But yes two fairly boring places at night.

So where are you going the next day? Easier from Geneva or Lausanne? That is your answer. Back to Brussel?

Lausanne unless you want to spend 6 figures on a watch in the many shops along the lake in Geneva. Loved Lausanne.

PQ : Going close to Lausanne for the meeting then back to Genève for the flight.

Again thanks all for your answers !

I booked the IBIS (gosh, hotels are expensive there) now have to find a nice restaurant, a quick walk and that will be it.

Not sure it will warrant a trip report - the boring life of the commercial guy ;-) But at least I get an evening. My trip to Istanbul took the shape of : land at midnight, go to hotel go to meeting room at 8 am go abck to airport for flight at 7 pm and arrive at Paris at 10 30 for the meeting of the next day). I hate when I cannot organize it better.

Lausanne walk - for exercise go up and down the hill the funicular does to the posh lake front where there are miles of walking paths.
