Can anyone recommend a resource for bikes and touring assistance for a couple who want to enjoy a full day bike trip while staying in Venice in October? They are willing to take a train to Padua or Vicenza to meet the tour guide. Do you know of a tour company that does day trips?
Thanks,
Gigi

I'm told there are some people out on the coast (going South West) at the end of the ferry. You can then ride along the beach front a long way. No idea about tour companies as I tend to organise my own. As you know there are no bikes allowed in Venice. But there are various ferrys which go to the ends of the lido at which you may find bike hire. Some great bike paths out there. What distance would you call a full day?
