One day around Lake Brienz

I plan to spend a day around the Lake Brienz
1. Which would be the most scenic cruise route to do around, perhaps Lake Brienz to Interlaken?
2. I would also like to go to the Aare Gorge and if time permits, the Bellenberg museum, any variations, or interesting places to visit around Aare gorge?
3. In general, any interesting places near Lake Brienz?
In addition to this, I would also be going up Brienzer Rothorn and walking a little on the ridge.

The cruise from Interlaken to Brienz takes about 1 hour 20 minutes so you could combine that with either a trip up the Brienzer Rothorn if the weather is good or a trip to Ballenberg if the weaather is not so good.

Either of these trips would take a full day if you want, if you do have time you go to Meiringen and the Arre George after going to on either of trips.

I wouldn't visit the Ballenberg Outdoor Museum if the weather in Wallenberg is not good -- it is an OUTDOOR museum. Yes, there are buildings in which you can sit or huddle, but the best part, from my perspective, was walking around the park.

Weather can be good enough for walking around the open air museum, but not good enough to mountain excursions. It's all about the cloud ceiling--a low cloud ceiling (as opposed to substantial rain) will not impair your enjoyment of Ballenburg, but it would make a trip up the Rothorn pointless.

I was interested in seeing the Aare gorge, but we didn't make it over there. Trying to take a Lake Brienz cruise, see the open air museuam, do the Rothorn, and the Aare gorge would be too much. You might be able to do 3 out of 4, but that would be a long day.
