Oktoberfest & Sweden

Jump to last reply

I'm trying to plan a two week trip from YYZ to Germany to hit Oktoberfest in Munich for Sept 22 & 23. We'd like to rent a car and spend some time exploring the area and castles.
Also we'd like the opportunity to go over to Stockholm and visit a friend for a few days since Sweden is a lot closer to Germany than Canada! I thought it would make sense to put Stockholm at the end and fly into Munich and home from Sweden but can't find any direct flights to and from these locations. I'm having trouble working out a plan that doesn't involve a bunch of different flights and eating up a lot of time and spending extra money.
Any suggestions on making this work without breaking the bank.
