Off to the South of France
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the board. Don't know how I ever planned trips without you!
I'm leaving Tuesday for Nice. Staying two nights outside St Paul de Vence (Hotel le Hameau), two nights in Mougins (Les Muscadins), one night at the Miramar Beach Hotel (Theoule sur Mer) and the last night at the Nice airport. I'm going to be looking at a few houses for rental next year and am going to spend alot of time just poking around the Pays Arriere (Tourrettes sur Loup, Valbonne, Fayence, Seillans, Montauroux)and the Esterel Coast.
I'll be armed with the green Michelin, Artists and their Museums on the Riviera, and The French Riviera: a Literary Guide for Travelers.
Any last minute advice?
Again, thanks. I'll post a trip report when I'm home.

I'm not sure where Theoule sur Mer is, but you may not need to change hotels the night before your flight out. We were staying in Antibes and planned to move on to Nice before our flight, but the coastal highway is fast-moving early in the morning and the Nice airport very user-friendly. We ended up staying on in Antibes the night before our flight, and it was no problem. Also, the Nice airport is close to the city of Nice, so, if you are changing, you might want to stay right in Nice and enjoy your last night on the Promenade Anglais or in the old town. Again, getting to the airport is no problem.
Have a great time! It's a beautiful part of the world.

We stayed at Les Muscadins two weeks ago. It's a delightful hotel and a good base. One night we had dinner at Feu Follet, which was recommended by another Fodorite. It's up the hill from the hotel in the town square, which is full of restaurants.
