Since Monday is a holiday and I've rented a car I was thinking where to go? Stupid idea, but I'll be going to Rothenburg to watch tourists. So my questions are "Where should I stay for the night" and "Where and when to assemble for the English languange guided tours". Should be fun

The Night Watchman Tour begins at 8pm (or at least it did in March, when we went.)
You didn't say what your budget was for accomadations.

if your interested in this type of accomodation. Her house was outside the old section but a quick walk.
If you want more upscale lodge option, we stayed at the Burg Hotel and loved it. Great location.
As for the Nightwatchman's tour...it started at 8 and we met up a few minutes before that in the main square.
