I'm planning my first visit to France since I was a
child. Will be going solo and am planning on
spending 2-3 weeks. I plan to fly into Paris, stay
a few days, then take the train to somewhere near
Tours to spend the rest of my time exploring the
castles and chateaux. I've been pouring through
books and internet info and am feeling more at ease
with my plans but, now, would like to have some
personal recommendations from anyone who's spent
time in this area: what not to miss, what to pass
by? What might I find off the beaten track? I'm
going to rent a car, either before I leave Paris or
upon arrival in Tours. Would like to stay in a
small town e.g. Blois, Amboise, Saumur... Any ideas
on budget lodging? Your're experienced travel
wisdom will be gratefully appreciated!!! Feel free
to e-mail me. Thanks muchly! dori

Dear friend,
If you want to sleep in a very
cheap place and very clean go
to Formule 1 or Grand prix hotel
it is not expensive around 35.to 40 dollars per night.
Things to see
Castle Azay-le-Rideau chateau
D'Anger or if you have a car
go to Bretagne it's beatiful and
you can visit Nantes, Quimper
Concarneau Le Guilvinec.
That's the place for the lace and also crockery, and for eating
it's the crêpe Bretonne ,delicious.
If you need more information
E-mail me and it will be a pleasure to hepl you.
