Nuremberg - Le Meridien vs. Sheraton/Carlton

Can anyone tell me which of these two is the nicer hotel in the better location? Or - if you have a recommendation for an even nicer hotel, that would be great too! Thanks!

The 2 hotels are just 5-min walk from one another, and both very close to the train station, so I don't think there's much difference in terms of location for the 2.

The Sheraton/Carlton is a typical business hotel - a little sober, but everything is clean and solid.

Le Meridien is different. They have renovated rooms which are very modern (with graphic wall decoration) and nice and rooms which are not renovated with wear and tear and anything but nice.

If you book a renovated room Le Meridien will be the nicer hotel, but do not stay in an old room.
