North or South from Reykjavik

I have 6 days in Iceland-I fly in and out of Reykjavik and I can't decide if during my time I should head north or south. I would start with one night in Reykjavik and do the Blue lagoon, see the city etc. then I would do either:

A) Selfoss and Fljotsdalur
B) Grundarfjörður and Reykhólar or Bíldudalur

I'm interested in the best scenery good day hikes etc.

Thanks for the advice!
