Non Tourist Restaurants near Piazza Navona

Jump to last reply

We landed here by the Piazza Navona because of it's central location, but we're having a bit of trouble finding a good place to eat that isn't a complete tourist trap sort of place. The place we ate tonight - food was so bland and expensive! 4 Euro for bread and 5 Euro for appetizer we didn't order. Sigh. The waiters were rude and pushy and everyone in the joint American like us! Didn't realize how trying to not get ripped off can be so taxing. Any suggestions appreciated. Maybe we need to get out of this neighborhood?
