Noise @ Blvd St-Michel~Rue Racine~R de L'ecole de Med.~Rue des Ecoles

Jump to last reply

Hello friends. I'm considering an apartment at the exact epicenter of above-mentioned streets. It's a 5-way (freaking) intersection on Boulevard Saint-Michel. Ouch.
Apt. is on 6th floor, but has terrace overlooking this magical intersection. I'm afraid the noise will make the terrace unrestful, at best. I've read the handful of reviews from prior renters & no one mentions noise, but no one says it's quiet either. Seems odd to me. How can you review an apartment in this locus & *not* mention street noise, one way or another: as in, "In spite of location, the apt & terrace are relatively quiet" OR "Naturally there's a bit of street noise, but ..."

I'm surprised no one mentions it at all. Makes me think the reviews are censored. Anyone familiar with this intersection? Thanks so much.
