New traffic regulations in Spain

This post is to remind you that new traffic regulations will be enforced in Spain from 9th May 2014.
All detailed in this link: http://elpais.com/elpais/2014/03/21/inenglish/1395421359_504010.html
Not all the regulations will be of concern to the visitor to Spain. But most will be.
Some of these regulations are alarming to say the least. Like a Guardia Civil (Policeman) does not have to stop you if they feel you have done some sort of infringement. You will just get a fine sent to you. No doubt the car hire company will be more than happy to forward you the costs!
