New Forum Member--Saying Hello
Hi board!
It's good manners to say hello before jumping in, I guess...I just registered, and I look forward to chatting with you about European travel. I'm a total Italophile, Grecophile, Francophile...well, just about everythingophile. Ciao!

Buena sera Caravaggista! I see that you have already given some information to some people here on Fodors. Welcome, and I hope that you enjoy Fodor's and it seems as though you will be adding some good advice to people that have questions. Best wishes.

Hi, Caravaggista!
Very gracious of you to introduce yourself. This is an enjoyable board, and there are some extremely knowledgeable travelers here who generously share their experience. Then there are others, like me, who don't have that much experience, but share our opinions very, very freely.
There are probably more Italophiles than anything else here, but you can find someone who's been ANYWHERE in Europe, and will talk at length about it.
Welcome to the board, and happy travels!

Hi Caravaggista, I am in N. CA. I do have some family in Florida. I will be going back to Italy too next year but not sure if I will go in spring or in the autumn. I was going to go back to Italy this year but many things happened here so I haven't made reservations and now I choose to wait until 2006. I sure hope you enjoy Fodor's. We will enjoy having you!!!

Hi, Cara... five posts n yout first hour or two here tonight. Love the enthusias. Probably read hundreds of threads - - which may or may not have contained the tip to click on your own name. It's a valuable tip that Fodors fails to provide you when they send that initial e-mail confirming your registration.
Also worth knowing, and not obvious - - click on "HELP" (tiny little red letters, upper lefthand corner) - - takes you to their FAQs.
Welcome to the forum.
Best wishes,

Welcome new poster. While we don't stand much on formality around here, nice manners can only be a good thing, I guess. Beware this Board can become very addictive, very quickly, but I mean that in the best way (don't tell my boss).

@Betsy: By accident! I was googling over the weekend, starting to fantasize about my next trip, and this site came up. I've wanted to find a good European travel message board, so that was lucky. (Suze: already addicted...Love to travel, I love to talk...a deadly combination!)
@Rex: Thanks for the tips. No, they didn't tell me those useful things!
