New Europe vacation plan help

Jump to last reply

I have started a new topic because my plans have changed
Any advice on this new plan would be appreciated.

My wife and I are planning a European vacation in late May and we had thought of starting in England. We now have changed that to fly into Amsterdam, arriving on a Sunday morning. Stay Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Amsterdam, using 1 day to take a day trip. On Thursday take a train to a city in Germany, maybe Cologne, and rent a car and drive the Mosel Valley or the Romantic Road, staying in places along the way, ending maybe in Stuttgart or Munich on Monday or Tuesday.
Drop off the car and take a train to Lucerne Switzerland. Stay in Lucerne-see the sites-take a late train Thursday to Zurich, stay Thursday night and leave early Friday back to Tampa.
