New Easyjet route from Madrid to Bilbao

From February Easyjet begins a new route from Madrid to Bilbao. There will be four frequencies from Mon to Fri, less on weekends.

It will be a nice bit of competence for Iberia and Spanair. In the last months the delays and cancellations have increased, and it seems that they don´t realize that more and more people are opting for alternative transport methods ( still only two trains per day, but far more reliable).

Easyjet will be a good option to jump and visit the north of Spain, I think ... The timetable for Monday to Friday will be :

From Bilbao : 06.45, 08.30, 16.10 and 19.30
From Madrid :07.00, 14.10, 18.00 and 21.10

A couple of years ago there were Vueling flights between Madrid and Bilbao ... and I was so happy ;)
