Neuschwanstein/Hohenschwangau - advance tickets

Jump to last reply

We will be visiting both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau in September on the weekend, and I see that the area will be busy with tourists. I thought it made sense to book our castle tickets online rather than wait until we arrive. However, I am not certain what times I should select for each castle. Can we book a tour at Hohenschwangau for 9:30 and then a second tour at Neuschwanstein for 11:30? How long does it take to travel between the 2 castles? Any other advice about the visit to the castles would also be appreciated.
