At this last moment we are limited to apartment availability but have found two and need advice please for our May visit. The one in Montmartre, while beautiful, is off the beaten path. It would be inconvenient to come back after a day of sight seeing and take a quick nap then head out again.
And I'm not familiar with the neighborhood in the Latin Quarter near M-Censier-Daubenton. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Did you notice that the contrescarpe apartment is on the 4th floor (5th floor American) and there is no elevator. That might be more than you're willing to climb a couple of times a day.
I do like the location and rue Mouffetard is a market street so you can go out and buy some fresh fruit and bread for breakfast. Place de la contrescarpe is a nice small square for evening, after dinner drinks. And there are lots of eateries in the area and places for take out dinners.
