Need to prebook Alhambra Granada for December visit?

Do I need to prebook tickets for the Alhambra if I am traveling there in December? We will be in Granada for two days 22-23 December.
Thanks in advance

For the Alhambra, I think prebooking is ALWAYS a good idea.

Your dates are during Christmas break so there will be tourists.

It's unbelievable how it keeps growing as a tourist destination.

The Alhambra is a major tourist destination. I wouldn't even bother to go to Granada without tickets in advance.

I agree - why take the chance? Do book visits during both the day and the evening. I was glad I saw it during the day first.

'I tried to buy using three different credit cards tonight. Nothing worked.' - You do not say why. Did you clear a foreign (possibly suspicious) transaction with any finance house?

There have been some reports of inconsistency in the availability of the website recently. Here's the latest thread I know of on the topic:

Keep trying and consider calling!
