We dragged our feet on tickets and now are scrambling to find an air conditioned apartment with a lift (elevator) in Budapest in July. We found the following from Budapest Vacation Rentals, a site I found here on Fodor's. The apartment is in the Cafe District in the 4th at Bakats ter, see the URL below. WOW! Thanks for the link. Budapest and Prague are our next trip. This is exactly the type of place we look for. Thanks for doing all the hard work. Please write a note when you return. Dying to hear your thoughts. But, must say the reviews are stunning.
It looks lovely and while I prefer the Opera area and like to keep north of the Market, given the summer is on us and you are inside the ring I'd book it.
Actually we are leaving July 13 for a week in Budapest. We did rent from the company mentioned above, but took a larger apartment (Max). Will give a trip report when we return.

We stayed in another of the apartments and it was wonderful.
You will not be sorry.
We stayed in the smaller apartment and it was wonderful. Ours was on the first floor inside a courtyard.
You will enjoy Budapest and the apartment, I am sure.
