Don't Tarom still do Tel Aviv-Bucharest?
Because they also do a few flights a week to Chisinau - and these days Tarom's Chisinau flights go from the same airport their long-distance flights arrive at. There is also a daily train from Bucharest.
Alternatively, Air Moldova flies not only from Bucharest but from Larnaca and Istanbul. You presumably can get cheapos to these two places.
