marian...I've driven it. Roads are OK...but we saw several good looking Mercedes busses and in Kosice the bus station calls for express to Uzhgorod. There may be a slight border hassle while on board. Since we were driving, the stop was loaded with trucks, a few cars and several busses. We sort of breezed through (our Kosice rental was originally from Uzh so we had Uke plates). The Ukraine does not require visas. Uzh is a big town, as is Kosice. Have a nice trip.
