Hi! I'm planning to visit London in September, and while searching for train tickets and also Heathrow Connects, I found out about the 2For1 London attractions. I know that someone has already posted something about 2For1 but since that post was posted in 2007 therefore i would like to know whether there are updates on this offer. I tried to understand the terms and conditions, i even called to the National Rail to enquire but their replies just left me even more confuse.
I'm holding an advance ticket for Heathrow Connect to London and after a week time I'm holding another advance ticket from Paddington back to Heathrow by Heathrow Connect. If holding these tickets are they National Rail? Can i claim the vouchers and use them during my stay? How many vouchers can i use? Is it only one per two tickets? When spoken to National Rail they informed me that i could only use one voucher, is that true?
Secondly saw that visitors holding a Travelcard can also use the vouchers on the day of the travelcard. Is it London Underground one day travelcard valid for the 2For1 vouchers? Or it has to be the Travelcards for the trains?
Thirdly, if im holding a single London Midlands train ticket into London, can i also claim the voucher? And do i have to visit the attraction on the day stated in the ticket?
Would much appreciate if anyone could let me know.
Calling the offices does not help at all...
Many thanks...

Is it London Underground one day travelcard valid for the 2For1 vouchers? - NO, it must be bought from a National Rail office
Thirdly, if im holding a single London Midlands train ticket into London, can i also claim the voucher? And do i have to visit the attraction on the day stated in the ticket? - yes and yes. If you hold a return ticket (as opposed to a single to London & a single from London) however it's valid between the dates on the ticket
Is it only one per two tickets? When spoken to National Rail they informed me that i could only use one voucher, is that true? Yes and no. Each voucher lets 2 people in for the price of one. You can't use it for more than 2 people. If you have a larger group, you can use more vouchers.
Secondly saw that visitors holding a Travelcard can also use the vouchers on the day of the travelcard. Is it London Underground one day travelcard valid for the 2For1 vouchers? No. Or it has to be the Travelcards for the trains? Yes.
