Need Recs for Boutique Hotel in Barcelona; <$250/dbl; May travel

I tried to squeeze it all in the title :-D, but as a synopsis: I am looking for experiences, recommendations, or stay-aways for a small boutique hotel in Barcelona, late May travel, budget <$250/double. Conveniently located within 1-2 mile radius of Plaza cataluna would be a plus.

Any thoughts?
