That's tight all right. You're going to spend most of your time in train/bus stations and airports, not seeing or enjoying anything. It would be a horror show for me, not a vacation. Why would you even bother to go all the way to Paris for one night? And Venice for only one? Why 3 nights in Potsdam? You're zig-zagging all over the Continent - to me, it makes no sense, but perhaps you have your reasons. Also, you really need to nail down whether it involves bus rides, train rides, or airplanes - that makes a huge difference, though in your case to me the whole plan sounds nuts.

28/12/2016- One day trip to Bratislava -back to Vienna
SO why do you stay in Vienna ? you see nothing there.
29/12/2016 - Morning Bus/train/ride to Prague from Vienna 4 nights - OK you see Prague - no daily trips ?
3/01/2017 - Morning Bus/train/air travel to Venice - 1 night - So you spend half a day in Venice at most.
4/01/2017 - Evening Bus/train/Air travel to Geneva 1 night
so you spend half a day in Geneva.
5/01/2017- Evening Bus/Air travel to Paris 1 night
SO you spend half a day in Paris
6/01/2017: Evening bus/air Potsdam Germany 3 nights
OK you see Potsdam.
9 /01/2017 - Early morning bus/air Potsdam to Budapest. 2 nights
11/01/2017: Budapest to Istanbul
I would scratch all 'one night stops' - what is the use ?

for great train info check www.seat61.com -sage tips on discounted train tickets; www.budgeteuropetravel.com and www.ricksteves.com.
You are traveling enough on trains to take a look at a Eurail Select Saverpass-also consider overnight trains between some of those cities to save on daytime travel time and save on the cost of night's hotel.

Forget the bus rides are you considering, it doesn't make sense to waste that time to save a few euro, trains are not that expensive in those countries (eg, Vienna to Prague or BUdapest to Vienna). I don't even know if you can do bus rides some of those distances. Sometimes they make sense in certain countries or for some cities not well connected by train.
I would completely drop Venice from your plan, it is way out there logistically. I'd probably also drop Geneva as being a bit out of the way and not worth it.
You can fly on a budget airline from Prague to Paris, then.
What's the deal with Potsdam? That doesn't make sense in that order. If anythign, drop Geneva and Venice, and then throw in Berlin instead, Potsdam is near it. You could then go from Prague by train to Berlin, visiting Potsdam from there. Fly budget airline from Berlin to Paris.
Going back to Budapest doesn't make any sense at all at the end of your trip, that frees up a couple days to add elsewhere. If you want 5 days in Budapest, do it at one time.
Two budget air trips -- say Berlin to Paris, then Paris to Istanbul at the end.
Use www.skyscanner.net to find budget airlines. Easyjet flies Berlin to Paris in 1.5 hrs for about 40 euro. So do several other airlines, lots of choices there (Air Berlin, Eurowings, etc.). You can fly from Paris to Istanbul for about 100 euro, even on Air France, although there are a couple other airlines doing that route, also (like Atlas Global and Turkish Airlines).

This is checklist tourism: Been there, drove past that, didn't have time to buy the T-shirt.
I agree that www.skyscanner.com is a good place to shop for budget airline flights priced on a one-way basis. But with all the time-consuming procedures at both ends of the flight, any train ride under four hours is more efficient and more comfortable. But the real way to save time and money is to strike off some of those one-night-stands.

I'm guessing he's staying four nights in Prague, which would make some sense, not trying to daytrip from Vienna (which would be daft).
Cut Venice, Geneva, Paris and Germany. That's just adding cost to your travel. Stay longer in Budapest and Prague.

<<ow can I find budget air travel to save time>>
It won't save you any time at all unless it's a pretty long flight. It would be a waste of time for all your trips that involve going somewhere for a single night.
I wouldn't bother trying to find "fixes" to make this trip possible. Just start over with a reasonable plan.

Yes totally impossible- you will have just a few hours in each destination- is it worth it? You will be on train or in airports most of the time.
Vienna to Venice can be done by night train
and Venice to Paris by night train
at least ditch Geneva, a city that fails to excite many

Sorry - but you have a disaster in the making. What if there is some sort of transit delay - a strike, a natural disaster(many of the areas you are in are subject to heavy snows in winter)? The whole rip will unravel and you will have to reorganize al of your travel and hotel reservations (or are you planning on sleeping in train stations) on the fly.
And have you taken into account the fact that on 12/25 and 12/31 and 1/1 many place will be closed? What will you do on those days? And have you looked at the train schedules for those dates?
This trip will be a HUGE waste of both time and money unless you start over with a itinerary that makes sense. In the time you have you should be going to 2 - or at most 3 cities (I would say 2 based on the fact that the holidays intervene).
