Need hotel near CDG for our last night - recommendations?

We have an early flight out leaving from terminal 2A (Air Canada) and would like to stay at a hotel near the airport for our last night. We're already spending a week in Paris earlier in the trip so don't really want to stay back in the city for the final night.

We are 4 adults and don't want to spend more than $250 - $300. Don't care if the we have one room with 2 double beds or 2 rooms.

Not looking for anything fancy, just a clean place to sleep and a reliable shuttle to get us to the airport in the morning. Thanks.

We stayed at a Suite Hotel for 80E. Quick shuttle ride from the hotel to the CDG train.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel de l'Europe which is very near the Gare du Nord. This was prior to a return to Canada. The price was around €80 with breakfast extra. The manager arranged transport for us to the airport and was a very obliging fellow. The room was adequate and more than justified the price. The trip to CDG took about 35 minutes. You can find the Hotel by Googling it.

There are a number of hotels near the airport, some with shuttle service. Search under the name of Roissy, which is the town nearest to CDG - use Google and input >Hotel Roissy<.
There is a Holiday Inn, and a bunch of others, they are used to accommodate people with your needs.

We had a bad experience at the Holiday Inn at CDG. After calling their 800 and confirming by phone they had a 24 hour shuttle, we arrived and found they did not. The earliest shuttle was 5:30 and our flight left at 7:50, which we did not think was enough time. We were pretty mad because we could have stayed in the Holiday Inn Express, right across the street, for lots less, only took the HI because of the shuttle.
But wait, there's more! They agreed to call a taxi for us at 5, so we were ready to go. The "taxi" arrived with HOLIDY INN on it, so we got to pay 20 Euro for what was essentially the "free" shuttle.
It did get us there right on time, though.
So, be very careful when you pick a hotel, if you want a shuttle do your best to verify if they really do have a shuttle early enough to get you to your gate on time.

I stayed at the Sofitel at the Airport. It has a shuttle to and from the terminals and is about 5 mins in the van.

Summer 2007 I was in Turkey flying back to Canada and went online while there, about 5 days before landing, and found an internet deal for 100 euro, which includes breakfast. Might have been a weekend deal.

It had to be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in/aorund Paris, and one of the best values

Bid on Priceline for an airport hotel. There are also Ibis hotels there that are fine for an overnight and cheap.

A good friend highly recommends the Marriott Courtyard. I think I have also seen a recommendation for it on this site.

We stayed at the Accor Ibis last Monday night. Okay hotel (clean) and shuttle to the airport (we had a 7:50 am flight home), but I wouldn't stay there again.

If I need to do this again, I will take the advice given here so often and spring for the Sheraton. It's IN terminal 2. I paid 135e and you can probably get the Sheraton on priceline for less than that.

according to biddingfortravel.com someone on priceline got a 4* CDG "airport" hotel that was MILES away.. so the hilton and sheraton are no longer "sure deals" at CDG when bidding 4*.

Because of this i was afraid last trip to bid and just stayed at a REALLY cheap place. It might have been the Ibis, also. Clean, VERY basic.. but super cheap (45 euros on www.easyjet.com hotel site).it also had a shuttle starting VERY early.

i think it was the "comfort" hotel.

Air France was putting up most of their "missed flight" customers when I was there.

We usually stay at the Hilton, which is close to the terminals and has a shuttle. You'll probably have to go for 2 rooms; there aren't many, if any, with 2 beds.

Stayed at the Hilton at CDG a few weeks ago. Very nice hotel with a great restaurant. The shuttle started early and got us to and from the airport efficiently. The service was very good as well.

We loved the CDG Marriott Courtyard and got a great rate several years ago. Very nice hotel and just a few minutes to the airport. Room was spacious and very nicely decorated w. comfy bed.

Definitely the Suite Hotel. There are two. The one I stayed at is the second one on the shuttle stop from the airport. It's the one attached to two other hotels and has a restaurant right across from it. It's very convenient. And all of the rooms are 30 square meters. I was one person and had a room with a bathroom and a half, along with a kitchenette. Happy Travels!

I forgot to add that the Suite Hotel is an Accor hotel. Happy Travels!

If you book far enough in advance, you can get two rooms at the Hotel Ibis Charles de Gaulle Aeroport/Terminal for €59/room. The hotel is located next to Terminal 3 and within easy walking distance of the free 24/7 CDGVAL driverless shuttle train which will get you to Terminal 2 in less than ten minutes. See here: http://tinyurl.com/5bkozd.

A big advantage of the Marriott is that it's within walking distance of the town; so you're not limited to the hotel for dinner.
