Need help regarding French artist in Moustiers Sainte Marie (Provence)
Years ago DH and I bought a painting and poster from an artist in Moustiers Sainte-Marie. The artist is Isabelle Merlet and I was wondering if anyone knows about her or has been to her gallery. I am hoping St. Cirq might be able to assist me - if you happen to read this and are ever in that city.

Thanks Robert. I previously looked at her website but it was difficult to see any of her collection of works especially large posters.
St. Cirq. I dont know Isabelle Jacobin. I tried checking her put on Google but since I dont Facebook I couldn't get much info. Is she an artist, writer, friend?

All of the above. She's a really well-known artist around here who lives 1/2 time in New Orleans and 1/2 time here. She's a painter who does both lively scenes of NOLA street life, musicians, etc., and colorful paintings of scenes from the Dordogne. Her son, Raffi, painted and toiled all the walls of our house., and when she moved out of her atelier in Le Bugue to a new place in Cadouin (which has an exceptional new art gallery), we bought all her old wicker lawn furniture, which is arrestingly unique. We have a couple of her paintings, also. She's a sweetie.

She's on Pinterest (http://www.pinterest.com/iecameron/a...erlet/?lp=true) and has a web page (www.isabellemerlet.com) where you can purchase her works.

Thanks Robert. I have been to her web site but did not see any posters for sale. I have emailed her and hopefully she will respond back.
I am a little leary about buying art online (even something like posters).
I will check out Jacobin - but again I would like to see her work in her gallery. Maybe a trip to France might be required!
