Want to go for 6 days and do 3 in Paris and 3 elsewhere. hoping for really upscale hip cool modern place in paris -- any ideas? then the last 3 days love to do somthing more adventurous -- horseback riding, yoga, hiking and still staying in nice upscale hotels. love nice pools. for my hubbys 40th ! any ideas send to [email protected]

The Hotel Montalembert is on the Left Bank, in Paris. I think it is very hip cool and definitely upscale.
Every time we got to Paris, I want to go to the Loire Valley for a few days, and stay in a chateau. But we always get too involved in the city itself, and I have not gone yet.
But I do know you can hire a car, and take a three day trip, staying in a chateau.
