Need help finding a hotel in Belgium for Sept.

We need a hotel room for three nights iin September for Brussels, Bruges or a nearby city as we will be visiting both Brussels and Bruges. The only requirements
are it being clean, a lift if more than 2 floors and under €200 per night. We will be traveling to the other mentioned cities. It can be a chain or independent hotel. DH doesn't want a B & B. Please offer some ideas.

I assume this is for a couple who can share one double bed?

And by 2 floors do you mean US 2 floors or EU 2 floors?

Sorry about the confusion. Here I thought was was being thorough. We are a couple who need one double bed or two singles and we would like no more than 2 U.S. floors ( 2 flights).

Highly recommend my favorite Hotel Egmond in Brugge...this is a 2-min.presentation showing the hotel and environs. Our whole family has separately booked the Egmond. All were happy with it. Frequent trains to Brussels from the nearby RR station. Ghent lies between the two cities.

About a ten minute very pleasant walk to GrosMarkt and the Tower, along the canals.

DH and I stayed at the Hotel Oud Huis de Peellaert last September. Spacious room, big double bed, good bathroom, lovely breakfast room, bar, very helpful staff, elevator but as I recall there are only 3 floors. Would choose it again if we return to Bruges.

Here is a link to a Priceline Express deal, a 5 star near the Grand Palace, probably the Le Meridian for $184 a night. If you bid, you could possibly cut 20% off that price. I punched in 9 - 12 Sept, not knowing your dates. Adjust your dates and see if it is available. I also wanted to put in a plug for Ghent. If you get a chance, check it out.

I really like the Marriott in the centre of Brussels. Really close to everything and a really nice hotel. Weekends in brussels are a lot cheaper then weekdays. Don't know if below € 200 will be available for the Marriott on weekdays in september.
