Hi,<BR><BR>I'm trying to book a room at the L'Arapede in Collioure for next summer. I cannot find a website to book through and when I call the listed number the recording is in French.<BR><BR>I understand the hotel is closed for the winter season but does that mean you can't make reservations?<BR><BR>Thank you.

You can reach the Arapede by e-mail at [email protected] - that is, if there's anyone there. If there isn't, you'll just have to wait until they come back anyway. Hotels that close for the winter season don't normally have someone around just to take reservations, in my experience.<BR><BR>

Hi,<BR><BR>Just want to let you know that I've stayed three nights at L'Arapede in September and I LOVED it! It's a wonderful hotel and the view is simply stunning. The staff was very friendly. If you can't get through to them, let me know and I can try and locate their brochure at home. <BR><BR>Collioure is simply amazing. I wish I could live there! If you're looking for a restaurant suggestion, let me know. I ate at a very nice one(can't remember the name now...) and it was amazing. Pricy but very nice.<BR><BR>Good luck!

They are closed from November till March.<BR>I called them today out of curiosity, and because it looks nice, maybe I'll go there one day myself <BR>The recording says that you can leave a message. In your case I wouldn't bother with a message or e-mail. Hotels in France are still very fax minded. Just fax in the hope someone checks once in a while or that you will be one of the first ones they'll reply to when they reopen.<BR>Bonne chance!
