Can anyone recommend a nice B&B in Killarney? We're visiting in October, so big warm beds are a plus. Also, we do enjoy a conveniently located pub! <BR>Would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

October is not high season, but even so, Killarney is really!! touristy. Dingle is close and much nicer. We stayed @ the Lantern B&B-nice and 1/2 block from The Small Bridge Bar with trad every night.

There a 16 million B&Bs in Killarney. You'll have no trouble locating a nice one. Just go and look.

I stayed at Redwoods B&B - a nice, modern (2-3 yrs old) one just outside town. 22.50 punts per person

Valerie, When we went to Ireland last summer, we only stayed at B&B's. They are all over the place. Find a tourism office and buy the Irish Farmhouse B&B guide. All of the places we stayed in there were beautiful with wonderful homemade breakfasts the next day. And Joanna was right about Dingle. Breathtaking scenery. Ireland is beautiful and the people are beautiful.
