Need a few suggestions

Jump to last reply

Our family of 5 is traveling to Italy and Switzerland. Our basic itinerary is planned, minus a few pockets of time to fill in. Looking for suggestions. We are an active family, but like a combo of relax time and going hard time!

1.We arrive in Interlaken at 3 pm by train on 5/27 and have the rest of the day to sightsee/ tour. Any suggestions for dinner? How is the Funky Chocolate Club? Outdoor beautiful sights to see/ hike? Staying at Weisses Kreuz.
2. Saturday, we wanted to take cable car to Grindelwald, hike around area--- any suggestions? Is it good to go to Harder Kulm to watch sunset? Any other recommendations for this day? Restaurants?
3. Sunday our plan was to take cog train to Jungfraujoch and hike down the Eiger trail. Is tobogganing a good idea?
4. Monday morning, what bike tour is recommended?

Circling back to Rome on front end of trip, Monday, May 23 morning we have nothing planned until 2 pm tour of Vatican. Any suggestions for that morning? Staying at Hotel Windrose. We have same situation Tuesday until our train leaves at 2:30 p.m.
