National Parks close to Malgrat de Mar or Barcelona recommendations
We would like to see 1 or 2 national parks when we stay near Barcelona. It seems like Ordesa and Aiguestortes are closest- about 4 hours each way. Are there trains that go there from Malgrat de mar (which is where we are staying) or from Barcelona? Or day tours that go there?

You can check Rodalies de Catalunya (rodalies.gencat.cat/ca) regarding rail service.

The R3 goes from Barcelona-Sants to La Molina, which would get you near Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró.

Closer to Malgrat than Ordesa : the natural park of Cap de Creus near Llansa/Roses/Cadaques
The Aiguamolls park near Figueres/Roses

Another park : National Pazrk Ebro river, South of Tarragona.

If you had to pick 1 or 2 favorite national parks in spain within 4-5 hours of barcelona, which would you pick?
