I do not know what hotel to choose: Hotel Piazza Bellini, or The Decumani Hotel de Charme?
It seems that Decumani has larger rooms, but the location is in not very pleasant and safe area.
I saw only very positive opinions about Bellini and its location.
I understand that they are located not far one from another and close to many sightseeing’s.
Is it really a big difference between the location of these two hotels, from point of view of safety and cleaning?
Which of them do you recommend?

I doubt there is much difference in the degree of "grittiness" of these two areas. Neither is in what is perceived as the iffy area.
They are both in the historic center and this might be perceived as a "gritty" area by some people unused to large urban centers. Lots of graffiti, etc.
If you do not want this type of neighborhood, you can find a hotel in Chiaia that will still put you within a fairly easy reach of major sites. But you have to be prepared for a longer walk, or to take a taxi.
