MyAir or RyanAir??? Please help.
We are looking into flying Paris to Venice on May 16 2006 and I am looking into RyanAir and MyAir. I have had a hard time finding good info about MyAir. I researched and saw that it was created on the heels of a shutdown of Voltare (?) a year or two ago. However, I have a hard time finding reviews of anyone who has actually flown with them or known personally someone who has. Most people say they have not heard much, but one poster from tripadvisor said she knew two different people who both were delayed 8 to 12 hours when trying to fly MyAir. I do not want to waste precious vacation time. However, this is the only person I have found on the internet who has even known someone who has flown on it. MyAir uses airports that are more convenient, but I am a little more skeptical since hardly anyone knows about it. Comments about RyanAir are welcome also. Thank you, if anyone can help!

Jessica,
Your big red flag is the fact that you can't find anything about "MyAir". (be afraid, be very afraid)
Go with RyanAir, but be careful about LUGGAGE. (I swear they make more on charging fees than they do on airline tickets)! They have very strict rules.
Anything over 15 kilo gets charge $8E per kilo.
Practice smart packing if you decide to use them!

keep in mind that ryanair actually fly you into Treviso airport not Venice's Marco Polo airport. Treviso is more than 30km away from Venice...

my response to "keep in mind that ryanair actually fly you into Treviso airport not Venice's Marco Polo airport. Treviso is more than 30km away from Venice..." is...my thoughts exactly! Likewise the Paris airport that Ryanair uses is Beauvais, a long way away. I keep reading some bad, some good comments about Ryanair. Now, I have read two bad comments about Myair and two good. We plan to pack very light, since we will visit three cities in Europe...so luggage should not be an issue. Mostly, I just want to arrive quickly, with as little travel time as possible (no delays and closer airports)...but then I would probably have to spend an arm and a leg on a major carrier to guarantee that...and even then, there are no guarantees...
Thank you to those who have posted so far! Any info helps!

Jessica--
I was just yesterday looking at Ryanair flights from Dublin to France. I found that for another 20 euro, I could fly in/out of the two airports I wanted, by flying Aer Lingus. Ryanair didn't have flights in or out of one of the airports I wanted. Plus, I don't have to worry about my luggage size as much. It might be worth it to check out some of the other airlines. (I'd already missed some of the very cheap Ryanair flights).
