MXP to Verbania Bergamo to MXP

Jump to last reply

I hope to take a bike tour to the Lakes Region this June. We start from Hotel Intra in Verbania on Lake Maggiore and end in Bergamo.

What is the best way to get to Verbania from MXP, and return to MXP from Hotel Piazza Vecchia in Bergamo?

How much time does it take and how much might the fare be? It seems there is a plane at 1:15 so I want to be sure I can reach MXP by 10:30. Is anybody familiar with these hotels?

I would like to book a day before the tour starts to see some more of the area. Is Bergamo worth another day at the end, or better to book 2 days at the beginning. I need to consider the cost as this is a big expenditure for me so I would like to have some idea of the additional expenses from/to MXP.

Is MXP the best airport to use traveling from Boston ?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
