Must reschedule upcoming trip: June or wait until Sept 2011 ?
Due to an unexpected surgery we have to reschedule our long anticipated trip to Barcelona, the Costa Brava and the Basque country. We could wait a year (groan) but are considering pro's and cons of going in June instead. We would miss la Merce in Barcelona, of course.
Any thoughts? Much of our time in Basque was to be spent out of the cities exploring the countryside and enjoying the fall harvest.

Quite frankly, anytime we can get away to Barcelona or the Basque country is fine with us. Personally, June is okay, but I would wait later in September to visit both, perfect for the harvest festivals and the weather is usually nice. It may rain a little, but who cares!
