Museums in Greece - free on 18th May

All museums in Greece on 18th May (which is when I am planning a trip to Athens) are supposed to be free. I am a little apprehensive that it might be too crowded on that day.

Would request locals to advise - should I avoid going to the museums on that day or will it be manageable ??
