Museumplein and Amsterdam museums closed Monday 24 March

Jump to last reply

President Obama is visiting the Rijksmuseum on Monday morning. His helicopter will land on the Museumplein. As a result the plein, the Rijksmuseum and the other museums on the plein are closed until 1pm.
A large part of the Randstad is suffering from the nuclear top in Den Haag next week, and this is one more pita surrounding it.

Friends are unable to go to work during the conference because of the closures in Den Haag. Others can't get out of the city for the weekly band practice.

Anyway should you be in the Netherlands the coming few days be prepared for disruption.
