Moving to France, Many thanks to all

Jump to last reply

We are leaving for our new home in France on Sunday, June 2. I have posted a relatively detailed note in the Fodorite Lounge, and will be following up with a trip report sometime next week.

Nonetheless, I wanted to thank the many Fodorites who have provided helpful advice and information. Without your assistance, the process would have been far more difficult. For those of you who know the Dordogne, we are moving to Eymet.

I cannot begin to recall all the names of the people who helped, but I cannot leave this topic without mentioning Stu Dudley, whom I think I recall from the days of "Prodigy," who helped reignite my passion for France. But, the many others of you, both those who live in France and who travel regularly were more than helpful. I only hope that I can be as helpful in the future to those who travel to our part of the country, or even plan to live there someday.

A Bientot!
