Motorway Toll in the Czech Rep.
My understanding is that there is a nominal motorway toll that must be paid at border crossings into the Czech Republic. As our foray into the Cesky Krumlov from Germany and our exit into Austria will not place us on the motorways at all, does anyone know if I need to buy this sticker?
Thanks,

P.S. it's not bought AT the border, but rather just inside. In other words, the border guards don't sell them, but the first gas station or store within the country sells them (my experience being that it's within 200 feet of the border). But again, you won't need it for driving on non-motorways.

Hi
Before you buy a sticker, check with the car rental company. As you tell them which country you are going to be driving into, the rental company may already have a sticker on the car, even if you don't plan to use the motorway. This has happened to me a couple of times.
