Most Perfect in Provence?
For our two nights in St. Remy area,
(too busy in Avignon)
we'd love a gorgeous site with gracious accomodations and staff for sisters celebrating a BIG birthday. Have you experienced:
In Gordes -Le Mas de Herbes Blanches,Les Mas des Romarins or Les Bories?
In St. Remy: Hotel Chateau des Alpilles?
Vallon de Valrugues?
Mas de Carassins?
Thanks,
J

Check Luxury Links, believe it's www.luxurylinks.com - often have specials for Crillon la Brave.

I would recommend La Riboto de Taven...
in the valley of Les Baux de Provence (about ten minutes from St. Remy)
Charming hosts, beautiful location, great food.

Crillon le Brave is also gorgeous, but not in the St Remy vicinity at all.
Chateau des Alpilles is beautiful, but the last few friends of mine who stayed there found it "cold". I don't recommend the Vallon de Valrugues since its renovation.

We just stayed at Mas de L'Oulivie in Les Baux and found it really beautiful and in pristine condition. Gracious living room and grounds. Lovely location just down the road from L'oustou and Riboto de taven.

Les Bories would seem to meet your criteria--it's an unusual and beautiful setting. Lunch poolside is an experience! The food and service is top-flight (there are lots of people to take care of you,) although it's an expensive treat.
