more help w/ Ireland itinerary
Ok - so I'm taking the advice of most everyone and we're not going to Dublin. However, we want to go to Galway as well as the south: Cork, Kinsale, Kenmare, Dingle. Is it possible to drive to Galway from Limerick and spend some time exploring Connemara in one day? spend the night in Galway, drive to the Burren/Cliffs of Mohr and then head to Dingle via the ferry? Too much in those two days? Most important - any recommendations for B&B's in Galway - we're traveling w/ vouchers.

You can do it. But it's a 2 hour drive at least to Galway then on up...how much time do you want to spend in the car and how much will you enjoy if you are travel worn?? You can see the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren in about 4 hours including driving on the high estimate.

Is Galway going to be your first or second night? If it is your first, IMHO, you will be way to tired to see much of the Connemara. If it is your second, it is doable, but it would be more than I would want to do. Lot's of drive by tourism.

Bill
