Montepulciano accommodation

I'll be in Montepulciano in November for 4 weeks.I'm attending the language school Il Sasso with 3 others so looking for an apartment. for 4 adults.I 'm on a tight budget.I notice that alot of the accommodation doesnot include heating. How much would you estimate it costs per week?.Do most apartments have dryers?
Cheers DAP51

I don't have any specific answers for you, but you may want to post your question and research apartment reviews on slowtrav.com.

I forgot to ask-

Have you asked the school for guidance? I believe they offer apartment rentals and can probably answer your question about heating costs.

Please let us know about your experience. I have been considering doing the same thing through Il Sasso.

Ciao!

I posted on the other thread, but did you look at the apartments the school arranges?

zoecat - There have been other Fodorite reviews for Il Sasso. You should be able to find them with a search, but may have to search a couple of years back.

My husband and I have attended Il Sasso 5 times. (We finally made it up to Intermediate Level) It is the best! The instructors are excellent, and we have enjoyed the others in our classes. Also, we love Montepulciano and the surrounding area. Although we found our own accommodations, many others used the Il Sasso staff recommendations for apartments and were quite satisfied. Enjoy!

>>>>Do most apartments have dryers?<<<

Do you mean hair dryers or clothes dryers?

You might try this website for apartments. Make sure you are selecting ones actually in Montepulciano if you won't have a car.

If you look at this website, you will see where we stayed for a week last summer.

We were quite pleased with our accomodations--great location and value--the owner is wonderful to deal with.

Hi Wren,
I am very fimiliar with this accommodation, having read many positive reviews. It is however a long walk to the Italian school, Il Sasso, and also more than I can afford.
