We will be staying at the Westin Palace in Milan and would like to go to
Venice by train. How far is the Milana Centrale station from the Westin ?
Also, we will be staying at the Westin Europa in Venice. Which station
do we arrive ... Mestre or Lucia ......... Thanks

You need to travel all the way to the Santa Lucia station in Venice.

The Westin in Milan is near the Repubblica Metro stop which is on Line3; the Centrale rail station is one Metro stop away

Milano: take the metro (yellow line): it's just 1 station
Venezia: train up to Venezia SL, then boat up to San Marco Vallaresso, then walk

We were there just two days ago. Upon arrival at Centrale we walked to the hotel with our luggage. About 6 - 8 blocks. We took a taxi back to Centrale and it was under 10€. Very much worth it. Plus it was 7:30 am and it was raining.
