Nope and yup.
Years ago I drove south on the autostrada from Milano to Genova. My Porsche 911S could barely keep up with the little Fiats on that expressway. It was a severe case of sweaty palms.
West from Genova to Monaco I used the coast road. This is not designed for speedy travel. You'll often have your heart in your mouth as you take the hairpin turns on that winding road. But the trip is worth it for the small villages, restaurants, and the scenic views. I met a vacationing American Air Force officer in one of the restaurants and we cruised on in to Monaco after picking up some Italian girls hitchhiking our way.
Now, to answer your question: it's not difficult. It's a thrill.

They were nice, proper, and beautiful young women, and fun company for the afternoon drive. The Air Force officer took one in his little sports car and I drove the other two.
Enough of this. I'm sorry now that I mentioned the girls and I won't respond again on the subject.
Back to the topic and another point for Lisa1271: Try to see that your hotel in Monaco has a parking garage. Street parking is difficult to impossible.
