Milan hotel recommendation and where to go
Hi,
My husband and I are staying one night in Milan. Can anyone help us to find a clean (with own bathroom) and good location hotel please? may be around 100 euro, 3 star?
we are flying from Paris to Milano Malpensa T2 (MXP) airport. Do you know how can we get from there to the main central?
Sorry it's our first time to be there. Where shall we go if we are staying a day in Milan, then heading to Venice?
What shall we not to be missed?
Thanks so much for your help! very appreciated!

you'll look long for a 3 star hotel for 100 euros in milan. it's a very expensive town.
i can however recommend the gritti hotel which will probably be more like 150E. it is very well located about two blocks from the piazza del duomo.
the rooms are relatively spacious and immaculately clean. there is also a pleasant and helpful 24 hour desk staff.

Agree with Subcon. Three stars at 100 euros is going to be tough. I have been to Milan many times and have stayed at the Hotel Kennedy most of these times. Pretty nice place with great location. You can check reviews at Venere.

HI, I write you from Milan.
1) MXP to Milan: get the MalpensaExpress train, it takes about 45 minutes to reach Cadorna FNM Station (train every 30 minutes)
2) Hotel: if you can go "overbudget" to 140 / 150 euro: Antica Locanda Leonardo. You can walk from Cadorna, it's really close to S. Maria delle Grazie church were the Leonardo's Ultima Cena painting is. Beautifull small hotel in Milan city center!!

the hotel cristallo are offering an unbeatable deal at the moment (67 euro a double room including breakfast) the hotel is 3 star and located in the city center... in addition the malpensa express bus and train arrive at the central station on the east side which is only 150 metres from the cristallo - hope this helps
