Milan Hotel Help, 2 nights Sept
I am finishing an Italy trip in Milan with my fiance and we are arriving in Milan on a Fri. We leave Malpensa Sunday Morning at 10:30. Looking to spend between $100-$200US, 150 would be great. I think we would like something in the city near the duomo or la scala. Would like something with a more euro feel, a good breakfast would be nice but not necessry. All the reviews I read seem to be mixed.
Please Help

When I was in Milan, I stayed at the Gran Duca di York. It is very close to the Duomo, and around the corner from Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, the food emporium Peck, and Trattoria Milanese, a great restaurant. The hotel was lovely, friendly and the breakfast was really great.

Look at the Hotel Spadari al Duomo
http://www.spadarihotel.com/. We stayed there last year and really thought it was great. The location was superb, the rooms elegant, the service excellent and the price remarkably good.

Steeler; make sure that the days you are there are not fashion week; it will be impossible to find a hotel then. I believe this will be around Sept 24, but I'm sure you can search for the exact dates.

We'll be there in early September and my wife booked at Antica Locando Leonardo for, I believe, E185 per night.
We've never stayed there, but just relied on their website description and photos:
