Hi - We are taking a train into Brussels Zuid station. Our hotel is the Hilton Brussels City hotel. What is the cheapest way to get to the hotel from this train station? Is it the metro? If so, what line and what station do we get off at? We will have luggage.
Is there some sort of a 3 day metro card we should buy? Is the metro the best way to get around the city?
Do you buy metro cards from a machine? Do they take US credit cards?
Any good city tour recommendations?
Thanks!

If your train also goes to Brussels Nord, I would say that you can walk (unless you have too much luggage).
If the trains terminates at Zuid/Midi you can take any northbound Metro #3 or #4 to Rogier. That's the square the Hilton is also located in.

I always use cash to buy the tickets, so I cannot remember if the machines take CCs - but I doubt it. At the major stations (incl. Zuid/Midi) you will find manned shops ("BOOTIK") where you also get information. Maybe they take CC, but again, I have never used that option.
The touristy part of Brussels is not THAT huge, so you may want to think it over if you really need a 3-day-pass. It will depend a bit on what you want to see where. On the other hand, public transport is quite inexpensive in Brussels, so it's probably not much of a factor.
One thing you may want to keep in mind is that you can transfer from metro to tram to bus or vice versa - but each time you need to validate your ticket/pass in the machines mounted in the vehicles, or at the entrance of metro stations.
